You need 12 v. Vw transporter 05 central locking not working cant open side or passenger doors at all can only open drivers door and boot manually with key water ingress in wiring loom below drivers seat mainly loss of power to pin 23 middle multi plug blue and red wire middle multi plug. Manually lock the vehicle using a key or the drivers door lock button. Look under the seat and you will see two sets of wires feeding the comfort module wrapped in a cloth tape individualy then together.

Recently its stopped working all together unless i physically turn the lock with the key. Remove the cap from the door handle on the driver door. Using the key remote locking everything work perfectly. When one door has the locking issue it is likely an issue within the door.

All the three other doors lock perfectly. Pushing the central locking button the right back door does not lock. I can hear the classic double klick sound the pin moves down and up again so the door remained open. My actuator seemed to be making a little effort when called to do so via fob.

Hi all my driver side door lock has been a bit sticky for a while sometimes not locking unlocking with the central locking using the key fob. First check the 20amp fuse number 11. Be it the switch for that side latch or actuator. Driver side j386 49 00 no communication.

Carefully strip the tape back about 6 10 inches from where they are taped together to expose the wires. Door lock button does not work. Press the key lock or un lock button twice.
