Vw golf 5 door lock problems.

Ok first off the title. You are able to unlock it from inside but not from o. Almost a year ago my rear left door lock started playing tricks on me it was not always unlocking. This is a video for people who got problem with unlocking the door from outside.

At one point the door was lock shut and it remained like this for quite a while. As many people are aware there is a problem with the occasional vw door being stuck locked closed. Between the system s keypads keyless entry and door locks themselves the locking and unlocking of your vw s door isn t as simple as it seems. It happens quiet a lot.

One of the door lock jammed inside and wouldn t allow the door to be open. I had this recently and have collected a lot of good info and fixes. Common on many german cars. Most of the time the fix is simple but some problems may require the assistance of a professional mechanic.

A bit strange i know but after many many hours of research i found that several different word combos gave different results so tried to make it as generic as possible. I have 2008 mk 5 r32.
