Volvo 850 Crank Sensor Test

I am testing the camshaft position sensor with a meter plugged into the connector that goes to the ecu.

I have swap another ignition ecu but no spark either. A signal and a ground. When trying to start it will turn over 3 5 times befo. I do not have an account with alldata.

I replace the timing on 1993 volvo 850. This is according to the test procedure by chilton hayes and volvo. The ckp sensor consists of usually a permanent magnent sensor that is mounted in front of a reluctor toothed wheel mounted to the crankshaft. The rpm sensor and camshaft position sensor have good out.

What else could be going wrong. I followed the volvo ignition test procedure. The crankshaft position sensor ckp is usually a two wire sensor. Crankshaft timing mark is also in perfect alignment.

I have pulled a p0340 code. It calls for testing the values at the harness on the engine side unplugged from the sensor. Casey at pelican parts. The ecu ground and power input seem good.
